The GV9360 steam generator is equipped with Tefal's Ultraglide ceramic soleplate, which offers unrivalled glideability, superior scratch resistance and easy cleaning.
Like all Tefal's steam generators, the GV9360 features the unique anti-calc collector to keep the appliance scale-free. The water across much of the UK is very hard, and scale can build up and affect the performance of appliances. To combat the problem, Tefal has developed technology which changes the scale inside the boiler unit of the steam generator into a solid form, which is collected at the side of the generator for easy disposal.
Thanks to five bar high pressure, the GV9360 offers a 200g/minute shot of steam, the most powerful on the market, and a 120g/minute continuous and variable steam.
Safety is a key feature of the GV9360, with a unique protective hood making it easy to carry, an auto off feature which prevents accidents in case you forget to turn the appliance off, and a cord rewind.

This is the first steam generator type iron I have used and it is absolutely fantastic to use. The ironing process is much faster and easier. The large 1.8 litre water tank means I don't have to keep stopping whilst ironing. Even if you have a large amount of ironing the refill process is very simple, without mess, using the detachable water tank. The Tefal Protect Steam Generator GV9360 is the best of a number of products checked on line and in various high street stores. The protective cover and carrying handle are solid. Electric flex rewind stows the cable out of sight and the steam hose slots neatly into a stowage around the base of the product. Very easy to use and even my husband tried it out and approves! Not cheap but a very worthwhile investment and I won't be going back to those old style traditional steam irons. Fully recommended. Usual efficient, timely delivery from Amazon.

I have had three steam generator irons and this is by far the best. In my opinion when looking for a steam generator system you need to have a continous fill function, an easy anti scale option and the highest bar of steam that your budget will allow. Also look for a model that you are not going to catch your wrist on the cable at the back of iron itself as this can get warm.On this model the tank is easily removed for filling whilst the system is on. The anti-calc system is fabulous and the system tells you when you need to clean it. The steam will whip through even the toughest creases and for things that extra creased or very dry there is a turbo button. The back of the iron filps down during use so the cable hangs well out of the way of both your wrist and whatever you are ironing.I was able to steam delicate items on the hanger in seconds, a very dry heavy cotton shirt took about 2 minutes and jeans less than a minute and a half.I know the price is high but once you have used a generator system you will never want a regular iron again and this model has been well designed and gives great results.I highly recommend it.

one quarter of the effort compared to normal steam irons. cord is long enough for the generator to remain on the floor, if you have a smaller board.
